Layer > New > Background from Layer.
double click on it on layers pallete where are letters Background image and accept,this will convert background layer which is not editable by default to normal layer and then you can edit it
Layer > New > Background from layer to convert regular layer to Background.
You need to convert Background layer to normal, regular layer. Double click Background layer and click OK button when New Layer dialogs appear on your screen.
In Photoshop You can add text with Type Tool which is located at Toolbar on left side of screen, press letter T on keyboard to activate it. To insert image into another image You can from File > Place or open another image, convert Background layer to normal if You have only Background layer (double click text Background at LAYERS palette and confirm on OK) then click with Move Tool active (press letter V to activate) and drag image into another.
If you want it to be on a transparent background, open the image you want to be cut out, and make a new layer. Move the new layer behind the original image. Render the image and cut out all you do not want. Make sure you save the file as a PNG file or the transparency will not stay there.
grab the white background with the magic wand tool then inverse it and you will have the image selected and at this point you can copy and paste it to a new layer.
You probably mean how to combine images. There are several ways to do that in Photoshop: open 2 images in Photoshop, convert background layer to normal for image nmb. 2 then drag it into window with image 1. Another way is to use File > Place command to import image from hard drive into document with already open image in Photoshop.

first make 2 layers 1 for the sprites and 1 for background. go to import find your image for the background. next go to where the image is in the layer bar thing ( DON'T QUESTION ME) copy and paste it through out LAYER 2. once you have pasted enough lock the layer. for your 1st layer this is the one with your sprites highlight all the bars in that row up to where you ended with your background then right click and select insert blank keyframeand that's pretty much it >:D
SynesthesiakJune 26, 2011set your bnuogrkcad as the first layer (background). then go to file then down to place then place the image over the bnuogrkcad. if you still want to move your image around. convert it to a smart object by right clicking ad selecting the option from a drop down window.
In most browsers the background image will be shown. If the image has been configured so as not to repeat, and the element is larger than the background image then the area that is not covered by the background image will display the background color. DJL
First click on layer with pixels you want to warp (layer can not be background layer, must be regular layer), in Photoshop CS5 and newer go to Edit > Puppet Warp or Edit > Transform > Warp.
