It's going to take some determination! It also depends on how your Dad & Mom feel about dirt bikes... do they think they are dangerous? I
I was 10 the first time I rode a dirt bike, and immedietaly made my mind up that I would do anything in order to get one. I told my parents this plan, but they didnt 'take me too seriously, after all I had lots of serious plans when I was younger.
But I didn't give up on this one! My best friend and I would go around the neighborhood, door to door and ask people if they needed any work done. We got all kinds of jobs! (Mostly yard work, cleaning up after storms, gutters, lawns, painting, gardening) - and ended up getting consistent work. I also worked at the Golf course during the Summers as a caddie or 4 caddie, but it's usually hard to get a job like that when you're young.
-So nearly two years later after saving every penny, I had around $1500. The bike I wanted was a brand new 1993 Honda xr 100 and cost over $2000 with taxes and fees. My parents saw how hard I had worked and that I was quite determined, so they paid the difference and surprised me with it on my birthday.
Let me tell you, it felt good! When I finally got that thing it was the best feeling. Keep your eye on the prize and if you really want it, you can make it happen. Think of anything you can do to make money, and save all of it. You could probably do it in less than a year.
If your parents don't like dirt bikes you're going to have to convince them that you can be responsible and safe enough to ride one. (Also, point out all the safety gear you will be wearing) Good luck kid
tell them why you love this sport and if your tall get an 85cc or 125cc
once u get used to a dirt bike it is easy, quads can b just as dangerous once u get used to a dirt bike it is easy, quads can b just as dangerous

Wreck badly enough that one or both of you have to go to the hospital, repeat as necessary.
You don't because you don't need to be spoiled and make him feel guilty.
The best way to convince your dad is to get him some thing, or do some thing great for him, for example, You take your dad on a vacation, or buy him some thing. But if that doesn't work for you or your dad you can prove you love him, or if your trying to get a pet but you already have one you can prove to him you deserve another pet by being very responsible. That's always the best way!
You tell him that it is educational because it talks about myths and gods. Many have read it and have learned a lot from it.
My Dad encouraging me to become a motorcyclist, because he is also a rider and he trained me how to ride a bike.
