The easiest way is to put it in a crock pot, cover it with water, put your seasonings in (garlic, salt, pepper) and turn the crock pot on low and allow it to cook overnight. It will come out tender and you can use the water left to make some gravy. Word to the wise, take it easy on the salt. Once in you can't take it out.
