That's... sort of a blended question. Are you asking can you cure a betta fish's disease? Are you asking can an Injured betta fish heal? But that doesn't matter. Depending on the circumstances, the answer to both questions is yes. With the appropriate research, that is. ;)

∙ 9y agoDepends on said injury. Pimafix heals fin injuries, while melafix heals bacterial infections. ***BUT BE WARNED!*** Use either HALF or A FOURTH of the recommended dose with those medicines. Pimafix and Melafix are both really strong meds. the average dose may kill bettas. Sensitive gills and labyrinths.

If you have other fish in the aquarium and want to keep them well, that's what I'd do.(I have a 55 gal and an 80 gal) Another option, would also be to remove the Betta and place it in a small clear cup or glass, container shallow would be better, let the betta rest, and see if it starts to swim upright, it may take a few days,just because a fish is injured is no reason to dispose of it, only if it dies would I do that. removing it from the larger tank is the right thing to do.
