- To be Maid of Honor is a great honor bestowed upon you by your friend. Friends should be honest with each other. Take the risk and have a talk with your friend about perhaps delaying the wedding. Your friend is obviously anxious to get married and overlooks the actions of her fiance and she may well turn on you accusing you of either being jealous or you don't know what you are talking about. If she persists on going ahead with the marriage then this is her decision and you should respect your friend enough to be her Maid of Honor and keep out of her private life as she's made the decision; knows you have warned her and that's the best you can do. Let her have her fantasy wedding and put a smile on your face.
