No! If you do this you risk serious injury. The contrast in the heat will cause the oil to expand too quickly and displace as will the water meaning you will covered in burning oil. Many injuries are cause during the holiday season by people attempting to fry frozen foods. Don't try it. Defrost first.

Yes you can . You want to be sure when the brining process is complete to rinse the turkey and get off all excess brine , pat dry with paper towels . You then want it to rest for 30 min prior to adding any dry rub . Then fry away .

Smaller turkeys are best for deep frying. Also, make sure the turkey is dry on the exterior and interior, and do not stuff the turkey before deep frying. There are many other safety precautions that should be taken to safely deep fry a turkey.

Wouldn't recommend doing this as the outer layer will burn before the inside meats are cooked. Could be dangerous, too.

I would not deep fry a cooked turkey. It might be very dry. Deep frying anything is not a healthy way to prepare food but folks seem to like it anyway

Does deep-fried turkey taste different from roasted turkey?

The main difference in my opinion is that it's juicier. It's really moist and yummy. Sometimes roasted turkey can feel a little dry and dense. My husband loves to deep fry a turkey. He's from the South though and they would fry butter if they could figure out a way.
