You can only delete the pictures that you yourself have put on. There is an icon next to the description which simply says "Remove Pictures", there you go
It appears you can only delete the auto backup pictures from the desktop version of Google+, while leaving the picture stored in the Nexus 7. If you want to delete the pictures from the Nexus 7 itself, you can do this through the Gallery, Google+ (Photos dropdown), or the Photos app.
You can delete images from Google drive cloud using the Cloud Gallery manager which allows you to manage your contents and delete as well on the Google drive cloud.

You cant. Its their picture. Your just tagged. You could untag yourself.. But you cant delete it.

If you are signed into Google from the desktop, simply go to the Google page, go to the Apps icon on the top corner, and scroll down to Photos. From there, just choose which picture(s) you want to delete.If you go to Photos on your Nexus 7 however, it will delete both what's in the cloud as well as what's stored in the tablet's internal memory...so be careful.
Well next to your name underneath the picture, click remove tag. You cant actually delete the picture because its not yours. You can remove yourself from the tag so when people go see your pictures it won't come out.
You go to your pictures and simply hit the garbage can then press delete photo
veiw it and press delete
you can delete them from the handset. Go into your photos and click edit, select the pictures you want to delete, then tap delete.
