How do you disable 1989 acura ledgend anti theft system?

hey i just bought an 89 Acura ledgend and every time i would unlock the car the alarm would go off...sooo after looking around on the internet i found that you had to take a certain fuse out...well i couldn't find which one to take out because i had to buy a huge $20 manual...but looking around in my car i saw a little black box that said security right next to the steering column on the left side...anyways it looked like a button and i knew if you took the plug out it would stop the circuit ,thus stop the alarm... so using a Philips screwdriver i took out the panel under the steering column and there were 2 wires that plugged into the "security button" i pulled that plug out and put everything back togethor and the alarm hasn't gone off on me since...hope this helps
