The relay is hidden in the front of the car, under the hood, beneath the removable panels. OR, there is a separate fuse in the engine compartment for this. Just check the car manual for which one.
You should note that if you are in Canada, the Daytime Running Lights are MANDATORY on all vehicles sold in Canada since 1990, and disabling them may cost you a LOT of money in fines, as it is against Federal law, and the Highway Traffic Acts of most Provinces.
To disable the running lights either unplug the relay to the fuse box. Also there is a fuse for this in the fuse box remove this and that will disable the lights.
Remove the fuse.

To disable the daytime running lights on a 2008 Sequoia, turn the head light switch to the center position. It should show two headlights, one with an 'X' and a line between the two.
