If the alarm is factory equipped, take it to the dealership. If It was post production installed, take it to the place of installation or to an alarm installation shop. If you intend on stealing the car, ask any policeman. They love questions like this.
if locking the car with the key, not with the remote, then yo ucan lock the car and disengage the alarm by turning the key to the left once to lock the car then a second time to disable the alarm.
Pour a bucket of water into the passenger footwell
To disable: 1. Disconnect the negative battery lead. That's it :-) No but seriously, my car is doing the exact same thing! I am researching that question, I'll post back when I figure it out...
i have a 2000 Volkswagen beetle i need to know how to disable the alarm the inside of my key got messed up and now i cant take the alarm off, and i tried when u put the key in the door ( sometimes it disables alarm , or put down/up windows ) but if anybody knows how to disable it or knows which fuse i need to take out let me know thanx
Go to talk remote starts installers, they will help you for sure.
There shouldn't be an option to disable it. Why are you leaving children / pets in a locked car!?
If your key fob is not working and every time you try to start the car the alarm goes on try these steps: (These work on my '99 VW Jetta) 1. Unlock the door (so you can get in, of course...) 2. Open the trunk of the car (these will disable the alarm). 3. Now you can start the car. 4. Make sure to close the trunk (unless you're in for some adventure :p) rotate the key counterclockwise in the drivers side door it will unarm the alarm.
Cause Vw sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was just talking to my VW mechanic and he tells me he can disarm my alarm by fusing a connection which is located in the area behind my headlight switch. Tight spot if you have ever been under the dash of your VW. He is going to do it this Saturday. Will give you an update when the job is done.......
I had the same problem - and thanks to the internet found the solution... Open the front door and the hatchback. Now insert the key into the ignition and start the car. Voila! The alarm is disabled! If this doesn't sound like control-alt-delete, I don't know what does! Now I'm searching to find out how to turn it back on - because, while this stopped the alarm from going off, it also deactivated the keyless entry.
