You should have a black button under the driver side dash down by the Hood release that is the kill switch for the alarm if you hold that down while starting the truck it should keep the alarm from sounding and killing the engine.

I may be wrong but it sounds like your alarm is the problem. This happened to my brother's van(Astro). The built-in cutoff switch in his alarm was preventing the van from starting. It may be possible to disconnect the alarm system and try to start it. That's what my brother did and it worked.
