From what I have read, there are two options to the consumer:
1. Slightly hold the brake while backing (cannot confirm this works)
2. Fasten seatbelt or bypass seatbelt safety switch by shorting the two wires under the seat going to the seat belt latch. (I shorted the two wires and it gets rid of the annoying reverse alarm and seatbelt alarm when I just want to take the trash down the road!!! - kills two birds with one stone!)
The best way to disable a Viper brand alarm is to remove it completely and put all wiring back to the stock locations.

Burn out the whole truck disconnect the battery do not ever drive the truck there are more but these will work. You are welcome
You can't. The government required Dodge to add that feature to the computer programming.
Get a repair manual for your truck, because you will need to cut the wires out of the ignition switch, and bypass the alarm.
