It's located usually onder the dash, or the seat. If its under the seat be carefull of the Air bag controler! Locate it then remove it. If you do other items like door alarm may not work, as well as other things in the viechle! Choose wisely before removing!!!!!!!!!!
You can't. It's part of the Smart Junction Box which controls all vehicle electronics.
By buckling your seatbelt.
No, it is computer controlled.
how do you disconnect the door buzzer on a 2005 g.m.c serria
Take it to the Mazda dealership they can hook up a scantool and disable it.
There's a wire under the driver's seat (under the carpet) that goes to the seatbelt, unplugging this will disable the annoying buzzer you have till u put on your seatbelt. An off note on that... The paramedics will also appreciate the lack of noise when they investigate how you died in the accident by not wearing a seatbelt...
My mechanic told me that it is not advisable to disconnect the warning buzzer, as it is on the same network as some of the interior lights. But I feel the same way as you - TOTALLY ANNOYING. Does anybody else have advise on how to get to the buzzer so we can figure out a way to "muffle" the sound at least with electrical tape or something??
Under the dash the buzzer is a black square box that can be unplugged.
Underneath the stearing wheel is a gray connector. While you have the door open disconnect it and the buzzer should go off.
there should be a plug under the seat that you disconnect.
Just connect the two cables that are in the female slot of the seat belt coupler.
Easiest would be to disconnect the wire at the emergency brake handle.
