Generally Surbaru wants a radiator flush as part of the 60k service. However you have some leeway here.
i flush the radiator filled it with antifreeze water .. now i heard i should take out air from inside of radiator or hoses so the air will not block circulation of the water? thank you.
Assuming you are looking for the radiator drain valve, you will find it on the passenger side of the radiator, under the lower radiator hose.
hi i have smal question, how to change thermostat in Toyota echo 2000 thanks
take the vehicle to a reputible radiator repair shop and they should be able to flush the whole system out for you.
There isn't one. To flush my radiator in my 2000 I had to take off the lower rad hose.
Buy a flush kit at Wal-Mart or auto parts comes with fittings adaptors and instructions
Jaguar took this away! Stupid! It is meant to be for life. However it is a good idea to change fluid after 90k miles! I fink there is a screw under gear box and level can only be check by pressure of flow! Taking my 2000 stype to specialist £150
Drain and properly dispose (recycle) the old coolant. Put one bottle of Radiator Flush(from am auto parts store)in the radiator and refill with water. Run the car a idle(leave the heater ON to flush the heater core)for approx. 5 minutes. Drain and properly dispose of the flush liquid. Refill radiator with 50/50 mix of coolant and water or all premixed coolant.
Drain plug is called a pepcock. it is located at the bottom of the tank part of the radiator. To fully flush a radiator, you need to buy a flush kit. You can get it at any auto store. instructions are in the package.
