I also have an 88 Burban 350 TBI, but you basically need to strip the engine down to the heads and either have them machined with new valves, guides, rockers (if needed). To do this you need to find a good machine shop and have it done. You cant do it yourself without expensive equipment. It all depends you might be able to get new heads or even a "long block" for the price some times.

It sounds like you are asking how to do a valve job on your 1988 Chevy Celebrity. There is much more to doing a valve job than there is space to write it all out here The answer to that question can best be found in a manual such as the factory service manual, a Chilton manual or a Haynes manual. There you will find illustrations and instructions on the various steps involved in tearing down and reassembling an engine. It will also give specific instructions as to how to readjust the valves, torque values as well as the sequence to follow to tighten head bolts correctly.

What is a three angle valve job?

The area where a valve closes in the combustion chamber of a four-stroke engine is called the valve seat. During a valve job, this seat is ground at a set angle, usually 45 degrees, for a good seal. In a three-angle valve job, additional angles are ground into each side of the seat angle to ease the transition and improve flow.
