You can find the LDS Scriptures for your Android phone on the Church's official website at the following link: LDS.org
You can also just search in the Google Play store using the term "LDS Gospel Library." The "app developer" will be listed as "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints." This app includes all the of the standard scriptures of the Church.
The Church is currently working on producing the scriptures, lesson manuals, and other materials in a special e-reader format. Until then, you can use the PDF versions of the scriptures on your nook. The links to download them are at the "Related Links" below.
LDS scriptures with a white cover are typically only found in LDS temples. They are produced by the Church but are not available to the general public or church membership through LDS Distribution. Cover colors available to the public are black, blue, green, and burgundy. You might try asking at the nearest temple if you can get a copy of their white scriptures when they are worn out and being replaced, you might be able to get a copy that way. Occassionaly used temple copies will show up on Ebay as well.
It depends on your phone. Most phones will alert you when one of your apps has released an update, and then you can simply select 'install' or 'download' to update. If you don't have the free LDS Gospel Library app or your phone isn't alerting you when an update has been released, go to the "Related Links" below to download the latest version. (other free apps from the Church are also available through the link)

The Motorola i886 is a good phone! It is built very well and tends to have good reception. It's a very easy to use messaging phone with a slide out QWERTY keyboard as well as a numerical keyboard.
The first iDEN phone with a sliding QWERTY keyboard and a 12 key dialpad, the Motorola i886 is an extremely functional, if somewhat quirky,"candy bar" phone. Bluetooth, the Opera Mini browser and a two mega pixel camera are combined in an attractive and comfortable case. Compliant with military specification 810g, this phone is remarkably resistant to shock, vibration, dust infiltration, temperature extremes and low pressure. The Motorola i886 comes equipped with SIM and microSD cards plus an AC charger.
I don't know why you asked that question. "LDS" means "Latter Day Saints" and refers to anyone who is a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or LDS church. That is pretty self explanatory. So the LDS were ALWAYS allowed in the LDS church because the LDS church is made up of only LDS people. Duh.
I'm not sure, it probably depends on the site since LDS-specific sites are usually full of LDS members looking to date other LDS members. LDSSingles.com, LDSPlanet.com, LDSMingle.com, and LDSSingleSite.com are a few LDS dating sites you can try.
