you can pick up a kit for this at any hardware store. a small drill bit has to be bored through the center of the broken screw, than a reverse-threaded bit backs out the broken piece.
With a " grab it" which is a drill bit specificaly for that
You need a very hard drill bit and a large slow drilling machine. You drill into it at about 300 rpm with lots of cutting fluid as lubrication.
Use a screw extractor or easy out.
by makin a new hole
Broken screws are incredibly frustrating to remove, especially when it's just the screw head that's broken off. Fortunately, screw extractors make this process as clean and simple as possible. A screw extractor kit should include a number of different bits. Start with one of the two smallest bits to make a pilot hole, then tap an extractor bit into the pilot hole with a hammer until it's firmly in place. Using a pair of pliers, continue pushing down on the extractor bit but begin to turn it counter-clockwise. The broken screw should, with a little effort, begin to slide out.
The hole that you put a screw into is referred to as a "tapped hole". The rib-like things in the hole are called "threads" or, more specifically, "internal threads" as opposed to the external threads on a screw.
Using an angle drill, drill a small hole in the sensor. Thread a screw in the hole, and use it to pull the sensor out.
Get an Easy Out (left-handed) reverse drill bit that is smaller than the shaft of the broken screw. Run your drill counter-clockwise at a low rpm, while keeping the bit centered on the broken end of the screw. You might want to drill a smaller pilot hole with a normal drill bit first. At some point after cutting and weakening the inside of the broken-off screw end, the left-handed drill bit will catch on the metal and twist it out. I think there are videos of how this is done online. Getting the bits can be expensive, but they're invaluable for something like this.
To replace a broken radio antenna on a 2004 GMC Envoy you need to unscrew the old antenna. Next, place the new antenna in the hole and screw into place.
If it is a screw, you drill a hole first then insert the screw using a screwdriver.
You can fix the shake weight by popping the silver end cap on the limp side, and simply align the hole to put the screw back in and tighten it.
You can buy broken screw removal tools quite cheap from any good tool supplier or DIY store. You drill a hole into the offending screw/bolt and then use the removal tool in a normal DIY power drill or screwdriver in reverse to wind the broken screw out. Use a release oil to help it on its way in case it is stubborn. I have a set of 4 different sizes in a case which cost about £8 in the UK ($10 US)
eyelet
The screw head is larger to prevent the screw from pulling threw the hole made by the shaft
