You could try using a plummers snake, or an electrial snake, put it down the pipe and go until you find the clog then twist and try forcing the snake forward, this may take many trys before you are sucessful, if you feel you have mouved the clog try running the pump to pull the clog free from the pipe and send it to the pumps skimmer collector.

∙ 13y agoWe blow the line out with compressed air from a compressor, you'll need to break into the line in plant room and put a bung in that your compressor fixes to, fill the compressor and empty it as quick as poss into skim line. Remember you are blowing the opposite way down the line so put a bucket over skimmer lid to catch any crap that comes out. Sometimes we have had to hold a sink plunger over skimmer out let port and then let the air in whilst holding plunger as long as poss then let plunger go and the rush of air should clear the pipe. It's not easy and may take a few goes.

In order to vacuumn the pool you must first put in the vacuum and the hose. You can siphon the air out of the hose by putting it in front of the return to dispace all air in the hose line. Then turn off the pump. Insert the end of the vacuum line either into the port at the bottom of the skimmer in the pool or remove the skimmer basket and insert it in the bottom of the skimmer. Then after the line is secure, turn on the pump motor. Your vacuum should be ready to use (manually) or run automatically if you have an automatic pool cleaner such as an Aquabug. If you have a slimline skimmer there is a port located just below the skimmer door it is used for the vac hose. After connecting the hose you put your skimmer lid down inside of skimmer and then you can turn on pump. By doing it this way you can let skimmer basket catch all large debries.
