Please stop using Herbal essences and Garnier Fructis. Both are very acidic which will damage your hair, especially if you have color treated hair. In my shower is Garnier Fructis, 3 kinds of Herbal essences, Pantene Pro-V, and John Freda's Blonde Expressions. Yesterday I went to the salon to get my hair done. I had long hair to mid-back and I was told that all of it up to my shoulders had to be cut off. My hair stylist told me that my shampoos and conditions were horrible for my hair except John Freda's. You have to look for shampoos that are between 5 to 7 on the pH scale. A good shampoo is Paul Mitchell, pretty much any cheap grocery store brand it bad for your hair. I know I didn't quite answer your question but I hope my words will save your hair because I know I miss mine.
