THE FILTER IS UNDER THE CAR IN FRONT OF THE GAS TANK YOU WILL NEED A SET OF LINE OR OPEN END WRENCHES FOR ONE SIDE AND A PLASTIC SLEEVE TOOL YOU CAN GET AT AUTOZONE FOR A COUPLE OF BUCKS FOR THE FITTING ON THE OTHER SIDE DONT BE AFRAID OF BREAKING THE PLASTIC COLLER ON THE OLD PART YOU WONT NEED IT WHEN YOUR DONE

try to find one on EBAY and how you change it is look on the internet or look for a manual for a 1990- 2000 truck
5w30 major brand. I personally use Pennzoil, and have for 25 years with no internal engine problems. Just as important is the oil filter and air filter. Replace the air filter every 30,000 miles. Replace the oil filter at every oil change every 5,000 miles. I recommend you use an AC/Delco filter. Top rated filter that will provide excellent protection and flow. If you cannot find an AC/Delco use a Purolator or Wix filter.

its on the drivers side under the bonnet, look for the fuel lines, you will need a torx socket or scewdiver to open fuel filter housing
You would have to drop the transmission pan. If you're not familiar with this, don't try it. Find someone like me to do it.
FIND A SHOP THAT USES A TRANSMISSION FLUSH MACHINE.
It doesn't have one.
You won't find a gas filter on a diesel engine.
you will find the fuel filter under the car next to the right rear wheel
You should be able to find under the air filter box.
You can find the cabin filter on your 2000 Ford Explorer under the hood, below the grille where the windshield wipers are found.
