The factory keyless entry code for a Ford Explorer is ( on a card that comes with the owners manual )
Each vehicle has its own factory code
Every vehicle with keyless entry has it's own factory code
call a dealer near you about your problem
Each vehicle with keyless entry has it's own factory code
Each vehicle has it's own factory keyless entry code
In a 1998 Ford Explorer : The RAP module ( Remote Anti-theft Personality module ) is used with your anti-theft system and your keyless remotes ( each vehicle with keyless entry has it's own factory code )
The computer module for the keyless entry system on the 2006 Ford Explorer is behind the rear passenger seat. It is located under the seat belt panel.
In the Jack compartment on a 1996
The factory-set code is located: I have a 2005 ST my code was on the keyless module behind the passenger side air bag. go to www.mysporttrac.com and it will tell u how to find it.
I found the computer module (w/ the keyless entry factory code) on my 2003 Ford Explorer XLT behind and just below the rear passenger side seatbelt panel. Not sure if it's in the same location on the Sport model but it's worth a shot. Carefully remove the seatbelt panel (shoulder portion) and dislodge the top portion of the panel below it. The black computer module with the keyless entry code should be easily visible.
