There is no gas drain valve. To drain the fuel, you either pump it out, siphon it out, or drop the tank. The inertia(fuel cutout) switch is in the passenger's footwell area, either behind the kick panel, or along the firewall, along the carpet edge.
On a 1994 Ford Explorer : The modulator valve for the A4LD automatic transmission is on the passenger side of the transmission ( I believe it is behind a heat shield )
On a 1994 Ford Explorer : The modulator valve is on the outside of the A4LD automatic transmission , on the passenger side of the transmission , I believe it is behind a heat shield
Get under the car and locate the drain valve or disconnect the lower water hose.
Bottom of the engine on the oil pan.
Underneath the engine on the oil pan. Large nut.
On a 1994 Ford Explorer : I BELIEVE the fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) is in the front passenger footwell , under the front edge of the carpet , mounted on the toe board just to the right of the transmission hump
It is inside the transmission, on the valve body.
The heater control valve on a 1994 Ford Explorer is located near the firewall on the passenger side of the engine compartment. My 1994 Ford Explorer has a four port valve. This means that there are four hoses connected to the valve. It is very easy to view, as it sits directly on top of the engine compartment, near the a/c drier. It is easy to access. Should take less than ten minutes to remove and replace it with an OEM part. A very fast and easy fix!
If I remember correctly , the fuel pump inertia switch is in the right front passenger footwell , under the front edge of the carpet , to the right of the transmission hump on 1991 to 1994 Ford Explorer's
For the engine oil , it is on the passenger side valve cover
On a 1994 Ford Explorer : I BELIEVE it is in the front passenger footwell , under the front edge of the carpet , mounted on the toe board , just to the right of the transmission hump
