It is about 3 inches long with an electrical connector on the end of it. It is back by the right hand side of the distributor. Hard to see.
If you need to remove the oil pressure sensor it is best done with the distributor removed.
This sensor is at top rear of engine, next to distributor.
Assuming this is the 4.3 engine, the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor is located on the driver side cylinder head between #3 and #5 spark plugs.
You can find the oil pressure sensor for your 1999 Pontiac Montana on the front of the engine. The low pressure oil sensor will be just below the left cylinder head.
on a 4.3L, top of engine near the distributor; toward the driver's side.
There many sensors in that vehicle, crank sensor, cam sensor, engine temp sensor, oil pressure sensor, oxygen sensors, fuel level sensor, fuel tank evap pressure sensor, mass air flow sensor, manifold absolute pressure senser and the list goes on. Need to know which sensor you are looking for.
Assuming this is a 4.3L engine, the engine temp sensor would be located on the side of the drivers side cylinder head, near the spark plugs.
4.3 L? Top rear of engine, just to the drivers side of the distributor.
there is none.there is a pressure regulator however.and there is a tank sensor sometimes that measures pressure in the tank. but not on all vehicles.
The 1993 Chevy S 10 Blazer 4.3 liter engine temperature sensor can be grounded to the engine block. You can use the temperature sensor retaining bolts to ground the temperature sensor.
Passenger side, side of cylinder head next to sparkplug, single wire sensor, needs offset 13/16 wrench to remove.
A faulty engine temp sensor can do that.
On a 4 cylinder (no distributor) engine it is located on the engine block, passenger side, directly over right engine mount, between the upper coil pack and oil pressure sensor. It is accessed through the wheel well. On a 6 cylinder with the distributor, it is located in the base of the distributor.
