This is how to remove it..... fitting is same but in reverse.
First, remove the battery, taking off the negative connection first.
Remove the 4 bolts holding the battery tray in place (13mm socket)
Underneath the car, at the back of the engine, remove the pozi drive screw holding the LT lead to the back of the solenoid, remove the top nut connecting the thick cable to the back of solenoid (I found this easier to do once the starter was hanging loose)
Back above the engine, loosen the 19mm bolt that holds the starter motor to the gearbox (it's a tight squeeze to get access to it)
Then back underneath, loosen the bottom starter motor bolt (14mm)
Back above, remove the 19mm bolt, underneath again and while supporting the starter, remove the 14mm bolt.
The starter can then be jiggled about to remove it completely.
Yes, a starter motor can be placed in a Vectra CDTI 55.
There is a chance :) If the vauxhall wheels are 4 x 100 and if the main hole is big enough to fit nissan's, yes, there is a chance :)
If the engine is of the same type it will. ie an XUD engine (1905cc) from one peugeot or citroen will fit another xud type but I do not know if it would fit on a HDi engine. On the 1.9 XUD the starter is the same on turbo and nonturbo models.
The engine casing allows you to easily fit in a new motor for each flight. If you didn't have this the used motor would have to be cut out before you could fit a new one.
Depends on engine size but if you have the common 2.8, easiest thing to do is place a jack under the engine and just get tension on it to relax the passenger side engine mount. Remove the mount bolt. Slightly jack engine up, you dont need a whole lot like maybe an inch at most. with starter removed, flip it upside down, and pull it out the front under the exhaust, but over the control arm. you may have to actually remove the mount plate from the engine if it wont quite clear.
possibly $0.00c go figure!
unscrew the old one and screw on the new one . . Easy!
speedo connected to gearbox and connected to other end not brken but not working
Yes, a starter motor from a 1.6 will fit a 1.8 and vice versa.
Yes, a starter motor can be placed in a Vectra CDTI 55.
i dont know how to fit a stater moter!!
Yes.
to fit a starter motor it is normally held in by 3 maybe 4 bolts dependant on what car it is. these bolts are normally easily found when the starter motor is found which will be located either on the back or the front of the engine. attached to the gearbox. there is aso the main feed wire connected to the starter which must also be removed but always remember to disconnect the battery terminals before removing the starter.
yes without a problem
