If you want to make it better take it to a good garage
it's better
clean out the throttle body with a throttle body cleaner. Use a tooth brush to clean.
wd-40 the linkage where the cable goes into the line (by the accelator petal) may be rusting up there..
If your car is equipped with a throttle body, try taking some carburetor cleaner and a lint free rag and cleaning around the rim of where the butterfly valve closes. to do this you will have to remove the cover to acesss the throttle body be sure not to drop anything into the throttle body when the butterfly valve is open!
This is one question I would not ask a Toyota dealer!

check the brake pedal, there is a switch on the back of the pedal that depressed when the brake is depressed that turns the lights on, when this is loose it keeps the lights on.
How do i fix the TPS pedal position sensor in a grand prix pontiac 2004.
The clutch has a safety switch that prevents the engine from starting unless the clutch is depressed. If you kicked the switch or a wire loose, this would caause a no start. Look for loose wires or componants near the clutch pedal and reattach as needed.
same thing started happening on my '97, you will probably need to have a new clutch cable installed. when they get old, sometimes they will start to fray which causes them to stretch and causes your pedal to become sticky.
Then fix them. Start by checking the bulbs - those are dual filament bulbs, and it's possible that the filament for the brake lights was compromised. If those check out, see if you have power to the brake light circuit with the brake pedal depressed by using a test light. If you don't have power, what I'd do next is find the relay and test that. Remove the relay, check for power at the 30 post - it should be hot constantly. Then check for power at the 86 post with the brake pedal depressed. If you have power at the 86 pole with the brake pedal depressed and at the 30 pole, then the problem is either the relay itself, or the wiring along the 87 circuit. If you don't have power at the 30 pole, check to see if there's a fuse specifically for the brake lights. If you don't have power at the 86 pole with the brake pedal depressed, the problem is somewhere between the brake pedal and the relay. I'd start with the brake light switch itself if that were the case. Should be located at the top of the brake pedal.
First, you try bleeding the clutch. You open up the valve, have a friend pump on the clutch pedal, and tighten it back up when the clutch pedal is depressed. Repeat until the clutch feels normal. If this doesn't take care of it, there is no fixing the clutch - the clutch disc and pressure plate will have to be replaced.
check everything your brake pedal is attached to sometimes the mounting bracket bolts come loose there for pedal wobles left to right Other then that yes there is nothing wrong with you brakes just pedal got one of the holding bolts loose sometimes you have to climb under dash board to get to brackets.
With torches and soldering sticks.
Check the butterfly in the throttle body on the car. It most likely is gummed up with oil and residue from the PCV system. This will cause the butterfly to stick. Clean this out with some carb cleaner and towels and it should take care of the problem. If that doesn't fix it, try to clean and lubricate the throttle cable.

Check the fuse box in the engine compartment. If that doesn't work, check the break switch located behind the break pedal. Sometimes those get stuck.
