Replacing a leaky heater core is a big job on that vehicle. The entire dash assembly must be removed, too many steps to list here. If you have any intentions of doing this yourself I would recommend purchasing a shop manual for that vehicle to guide you thru the job.
Usually cant fix a heater coil. It is replaced as a unit and usually requires large amounts of the dash to come out. Very time consuming. That is why it usaully costs so much.

all depends: Got Fluid?Got PS Belt? A sudden failure would indicate a broken belt. A gradual failure with puddles of fluid on the ground would indicate leaky PS hoses, leaky PS rack, or leaky PS reservoir.
