Same thing happened to me. I took off the top rail and coping off and was able to stretch the liner back over the wall and replace the coping and top rail. I think it will slip again before the end of this pool year. I think I will lower the level of my pool next spring and try and stretch it back over the wall again.

A beaded liner will have a thick bead or lip of vinyl around the top of the liner. This bead will fit into a track which is made to receive the bead at the top edge of your pool. To replace it you simply pull out the old one an insert the new. There is a little more to it, but as far as the bead is concerned that is all you have to do with it. Overlap liners are harder to install because there is no bead so you don't know where the correct height is. You overlap the liner over the top edge of the swimming pool and clamp it in place with a piece of plastic. A beaded liner is harder to measure but easier to install and a over lapping liner is just the opposite because you are constantly adjusting the plastic clamps.
I would not recommend doing that. It would make it very difficult to change the liner down the road. Also, if you get Canadian winters, or a fluxuation in temperature , it is possible for the liner to shrink when it gets cold and pop out of the track where it sits. I would recommend getting T-Bead, or some other product that would wedge the liner in permanantly if you choose to do this. Tiles also tend to chip and break easily, aswell as need replacing after aging. Bits can fall into the pool and put a hole in the liner. Its just not functionally rational to do this.
A gutter is a continuous channel that runs under the edge of a roof to catch and dispose of rain down a single pipe to ground.
With two hands! Depending how long your reach is, you grasp hood on the edge in the middle with right hand and lead it down to about 10"-12" inches from contact and then let it gently fall, while left hand (palm down) firmly pushes down on drivers side edge (with rag under palm of course). Gently but firmly is the key. No grabbing left or right hood edge and slamming down from fully open position!
