Honda patented vehicle safety systems all have lifetime warranties on their seat belt systems. If damaged through wear and tear the seat belt systems will be replaced with new units, for free or the costs of a diagnostics test at a Honda authorized dealership.

The 1995 Honda Civic is an interference engine. If the belt breaks you will have internal engine damage. Replace the belt every 90,000 miles.

To replace the alternator on a 1995 Honda Civic disconnect the battery. Disconnect the wiring from the alternator. Loosen the adjustment bracket so the belt has slack. Remove the alternator belt along with the mounting hardware. Pull the alternator and replace it.
A 2011 Honda Civic does not have a timing belt on it. The vehicle does have a timing chain on it.

i have 94 and you need to unbolt the motor mount and slide the belt over it but they keep giving me the wrong size belt
Behind the light gray plastic timing belt cover (driver's side), it is driven by the timing belt.
remove compressor put a bypass pulley in its place replace belt
