Power motors will give you a warning before they completely break down. This "warning" is what you are experiencing. Go to a local auto parts store, tell them the make/model/year, and buy the part. Then take it to an auto-glass company (your insurance agent should recommend one) and they may be able to install the motor. It's MUCH cheaper to buy the part first and then have it installed. This is what I did for a 1996 GMC Jimmy, and I saved a bunch of money.
