I had the same problem with my 2000. There is a hose coupler above the headliner by the rear light and towards the passenger side. I had to pop off the plastic trim and I could reach it from there to put it back together.

You really don't. There was a manufacturers defect in the 2003 and 2004 NB convertibles. Upholstery shops will tell you that the window needs to be reglued.
