check in the trunk as the wires are exposed and luggage can very easily shift them so that they short out. This happened to my nephew who as a 2000 ECHO
Normal car radio is no different than aftermarket. Determine the output wires on the radio, take them into the amp and the output from the amp back to the wires going to the speakers. Normal car speakers are not going to take the output of the amp if you raise it much.
Nope.
That would be a mono radio, usually found in older cars. You may connect 2 speakers, in parallel, but you will have no balance control. Simply wire positive to positive, and negative to negative of both speakers.
Read the sides. Put inputs left and right in the correct slots. you can get input from speaker wire coming from speakers already in your car that is hooked in to the radio or amp. Then run wires to the speakers
No, the car aerial does not have to do with the speakers. Both of these items are not related. The aerials is for the radio and control the stations. The speakers are in a different compartment.
radio car tv
not your everyday factor radio that comes with a car...but, after market yes..
I guess you will have to the car company this question. I know this is not much help so sorry about that.
There is no ground for any of the speakers in a car. You will find to wires that go to the speaker but NEVER have the speaker wires touch any body metal. If you tie any of the speaker wires to ground you will short out the amplifier in the radio. On Ford vehicles the radio outputs are what they call Bridged Tied Loads. The speaker wires are not referenced to ground or battery. If you wish to find out the phasing of the speaker just put a 9 volt battery across the speaker wires and the speaker cone will either advance or retrack. Do this to all the speakers and note what color wir was on the 9 volt battery terminal
You will need a wiring diagram for the car so to identify what wire does what ie power wire, speakers wires etc, then join those to the same wires on the new unit
JL are good speakers.
A radio car is an automobile which is can be remotely radio controlled. This means that a person holds a remote which powers and steers the car from a distance, without wires.
