How do you fix the rear passenger door if it will not open from the outside on a 2001 jeep grand Cherokee?

9 out of 10 times the handel on the outside came unhooked and you have to go on the inside and open it by bending out the plastic and reaching down and opening it with the mettal rod atleast that's what i had to do.
