AnswerThe timing is controled by the sensors and the computer, it can't be adjusted.You can if the timing belt is stretched! Replace your timing belt and the hydraulic tensioner and it should repair the bad timing.
sounds like you temperature sending unit is bad. very cheap part usually easy to fix however sometimes hard to find - buy an automotive book for you car or ask someone at parts store
Not recommended. The water pump runs off of the timing belt, if the belt fails the valves can bend.
The only fix for broken timing belt or chain is to replace it.

ive had this car ( used ) for 1 year..not reiable..( cant spell)..on going steering problem..aparently Chrysler did a bad job on the rack and tie rods..cooling problem..get rid of the car..i still have mine..i bought it used for 1000$ and i put about 3 or 4 thousand into it to fix it..its a lemon..terrible everything
