I expect the radiator sensor you have in mind is the water temperature sensor, which is often not in the radiator at all, but in the engine block controlling the water flow to the radiator. They usually have a wax capsule that expands when hot, and opens the water valve. If it gets too hot, it fails. But a thermostat is quite cheap. A new gasket is a good idea too.
yes, a car radiator can be fixed in a repair shop
Usually a radiator is made of metal. Plastic can not take the pressure. A hole can be fixed by welding. A radiator shop can tell you for sure.
The engine computer uses the coolant temperature sensor to decide when to activate the radiator fans. That sensor is the two wire one near where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. The engine computer uses the coolant temperature sensor to decide when to activate the radiator fans. The coolant temperature sensor is screwed into the engine, behind where the upper radiator hose attaches. That is the main sensor the computer uses to run the radiator fans.
The engine temperature sensor is located next to where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. The O2 sensor bank 1 location on a Mitsubishi Endeavor is next to the top hose of the radiator on the motor. The sensor is slightly below where the top radiator hose connects to the radiator and on the top of the motor.
A cracked radiator can not be fixed. A cracked radiator needs to be replaced . A mechanic can replace one in a few hours.
It is the two wire sensor near to were the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. It is the two wire sensor near to were the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine.
The parts that are needed to fix a car radiator depends on what is wrong with the radiator. It would be best to have the radiator fixed by a professional.
The coolant temperature sensor is the two wire sensor near to where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. The outside/ambient temperature sensor is behind the front bumper, in front of the radiator.
Try replacing the radiator fuse relay
Probably a temp sensor for your fan(s).
