For 300 dollars?
I'm assuming that's what you mean.
Well, first of all, if you only have 300 dollars, do not get a dog. Period. Dogs are expensive, they need food, toys, beds, visits to the vet on a regular basis (at least twice a year), and especially emergency treatment. Many owners insure their dogs or save a certain amount of money each month just in case. Never get a pet if you cannot afford its care. Denying an animal necessary care is neglect.
Otherwise, I'd say that (insertstatehere) Humane Society is the best way to get a loveable dog on a budget.
The humane society is the BEST way to get a dog. Breeders are expensive, and the population of dogs is high enough already. Do yourself a favor, RESCUE A DOG.
You'll feel great knowing you've helped a dog in need.
The dogs that come from humane societies are already spayed/neutered, given a health checkup, treated for anything they might have. And they have had their temperament screened. There is a humane society in every state.
