Usually when a prepaid phone locks up it is because of the security feature which prevents someone who steals a phone from using it. My husband somehow did that to his and he still has no clue how. In most cases you can reset your security code by putting the last four digits of your cell phone number into the keypad. Once it accepts the numbers it should allow you to reset the code and unlock your phone. If at some point in the past you already had reset your security code you need to call *228 and press 1 after the call is answered. This should shut your phone off and then turn on again at which point your security code would be reset to the last 4 digits of cell phone number. Please be aware since I don't know what specific phone model you have I can't swear that this will work but these are the typical instructions. If nothing works then call your cell phone provider as it is likely they locked your phone perhaps due to a payment not clearing or being received. I hope this all helps.
