The title should be at the auction location. They probably have it in a file somewhere and forgot to give it to you. If they don't have it, they should have the information on the previous owner so they can get it, unless it was specified at the auction that it was being sold for parts only, without a title.
want to buy a vehicle without a title but with a bill of sale
a few days or even a week
5 weeks It will vary depending on where you are at. Kansas says 30 days.
well if you have a clean title with no lien on it, then i say sell the car with that title there should be no problem what so ever. i need to know what happens if i sell a car with a lien on the title (auction car) but the lien does not pertain to me, can the car be successfully transferred to another person ? or what do i have to do to remove this lien ? email me - djhackstyle@hotmail.com
I bought a car and I cant get the title for it what to do
You can get a copy of the purchase receipt from the auction if you are the buyer however car auctions don't work on a bill of sale. They have the title follow the car from seller to buyer. If the seller fails to provide the title prior to the start of the auction they are charged a fee which is typically around $50. They have 30 days to produce the title to the auction. If they fail to do so the buyer can return the car to the auction and get a full refund of purchase price.
Only if it's a clean title. If it's a "salvage title" then you will have to call the D.O.T. and have the state inspector come out and give it a look over before you can get a clean title for it again.
If you bought the bike on credit and miss the payments, they can and will repossess the bike and sell it at auction. Just like a car.
no
Some titles are on hand while others are not. Most auctions will charge the seller $50.00 if the title is not at the auction when the car is offered for sale. If you purchase a car from an auction they have 30 days to get you a title. If they fail to do so the seller has to take the car.
A car should always have a title if not see the person you bought it from or see the dealership.
The lender should send the title to you.
