One bolt holds the tensioner to the engine, take it off to get the tensioner off and then you can get to the bolt that holds the pulley to the tensioner.
no
1. Loosen the tensioner with a 3/8 inch ratchet in the hole and pull back. 2. Take the belt off the tensioner. 3. Take the side bolt going into the head off. 4. Take the tensioner off.
What makes your ABS/Track Off Light comes on and Off
Yes, on a 3.3 or 3.8 the serpentine belt pulley does come off the tensioner arm but the bolt is left thread not right handed.
Put a 3/8 inch ratchet in the tensioner and release the tension by pulling it towards you. slide the belt off the tensioner. You don't have to take it completely off. Take the bolt holding the tensioner to the engine off and take of the tensioner. To put one on it is the reverse of this.
To get the belt off, you have to put a breaker bar into the square hole in the tensioner, and either pull up or down. The tensioner spring is what tighten's the belt. It is just three bolts then to get the tensioner off.
rear window off track
Loosen the tensioner pulley. When the tensioner pulley is loose the belt will come off. Put the new belt on and tighten the tensioner pulley.
The belt tensioner should have a single mounting bolt. After removing the serpentine belt, the bolt can be removed to take the tensioner off.
remove the belt. then in center of the tensioner is a bolt that goes into engine. remove this bolt. then tensioner should come off.
The duration of On the Track or Off is 2700.0 seconds.
