How do you get a window up on a Chevy astro van when the motor stops working?

Remove trim panel from the door. First try to hammer on the motor while pushing the up button. If this does not work drill out 3-4 rivets ,remove the motor , push the glass with both hands up into close position then replace motor with new or for the mean time reistall with old.
