pull your light switch out and use a small screw driver to push clip and remove the plastic tip on the head light switch then remove the black trim around the gauge cluster

There should be a silver button on the side of the switch (behind dash) Depress this button while pulling on stem and entire stem should pull out of switch Unscrew bezel and switch should drop out from behind dash Ford suggests replacing plug also at this time

i believe it is behind the passenger side kick panel ,most ford trucks are.

Inside the cab, behind the passenger side kick panel.
In the right front passenger footwell , behind ( or by ) the kick panel
after electrcally disconnecting the switch there should be a small button on the bottom of the switch body that will release the switch shaft. then just pull it out and do the inverse to put the new one in.
Reach under the dash and you will feel a button that you push in on the switch itself. Then you can just pull it out from behind.
