∙ 14y agoIf you get it before it dries, you can use water (for latex or acryllic paint) and scrub it out. Then try a stain remover such as Shout. Follow the instructions. After it dries - I think you're out of luck. You could take fabric paint and paint over it. Make it into a flower or a car or your name or something.For oil paints, if you get to it while it's still a very fresh stain use sunlight dish washing detergent and it comes right out.
I've found that Citristrip Wipe-Away and Goof Off remove dried latex paint pretty well. Wipe-Away is more gentle, so I always try it first. Of course, the sooner you get to it, the better. I spilled latex primer on my shoe, then stepped on a rug in the house. I found the spot about six hours later, and Wipe-Away took it out pretty easily. Answer
