Use lava soap adn scrubb uunder running water it should come out with some elbow grease.
If you get it before it dries, you can use water (for latex or acryllic paint) and scrub it out. Then try a stain remover such as Shout. Follow the instructions. After it dries - I think you're out of luck. You could take fabric paint and paint over it. Make it into a flower or a car or your name or something. For oil paints, if you get to it while it's still a very fresh stain use sunlight dish washing detergent and it comes right out.
I've found that Citristrip Wipe-Away and Goof Off remove dried latex paint pretty well. Wipe-Away is more gentle, so I always try it first. Of course, the sooner you get to it, the better. I spilled latex primer on my shoe, then stepped on a rug in the house. I found the spot about six hours later, and Wipe-Away took it out pretty easily. Answer
Ive found that Uh-Oh Paint Splatter & Tough Stain Remover is very effective in removing both latex and oil based paint stains as well as TONS of other stains
Once the paint is dry, it shouldn't smudge or run, if it did, the paint wasn't dry. (Fabric Paint, is just like enamel paint, it just has extra ingredients in the paint so it can be washed)
They are practically the same. I paint with fabric paints most times actually

It is very easy to apply fabric paint to fabric. It can be done directly out of most fabric paint tubes, as they usually come with pointed tops for easy application. It can also be used by pouring it into a dish and using a sponge to apply it to the fabric. Some people use different shaped sponges, like squares, stars, leaf shapes to stamp the paint on. You can also use a standard paint brush.

It's perfectly safe to add your own touch to fabric window coverings by painting them with fabric paint. You can purchase fabric paint at any craft store.

I don't see why not, many Fabric Paints are Acrylic, which means the're water based, I think there is an oil based Fabric Paint, which ever you deside to use, when and/or if you deside to put a finish coat on your project, make sure you use a water based finish with a water based fabric paint and an oil based finish with a oil based fabric paint. The only difference between Fabric Paint and Regular Paint is the fabric paint has an ingredient in it to make it washable.
