How do you get free internet wireless connection while you're not in a wi-fi hot spot?

There are not much ways. Since I live in Taiwan I know how Taiwan supportsWI-FI and internet Connection. Most of the mobile supporters give you a Internet Connection USB/Card. In Taiwan one of the famous connection is called Wifly. The USB finds Wifly Points to use it as Connection. My friends ask me how do we get them.
1. At the shop you buy your computer. WHY Because sometimes particular USB brings better connection.
2. Buy a IBM or ASUS CPUs. WHY They have a good CARD built in. Other ones either are bad or the original function can search for connection but bad

depends what Pokemon version youre playing if youre playing leaf green or fire red you cant play wirelessly at all as ther is no adaptor for them + they use a wifi connection but if youre playin diamond, pearl or platinum then you use the built in wifi connection in the DS hope i helped
How do you hook up a usb wireless adapter to a Xbox 360?
I just recently bought one of these and it's really quite simple. All you do is take you the usb from the adapter and connect it to the back of the console by the ethernet port. Then you hook it onto the little slots right above the port(if you want to). Then you go to connections, Xbox Live connection, and it has a few options to find a network and you should be able to connect.

Or sometimes your connection gets struck by lightning.

Ethernet provides a much faster transfer rate. For normal internet services like DSL and cable, you wont see a difference between USB and ethernet. Ethernet is good if you have more than one computer networked and youre transfering data between the computers. As far as Virus protection goes, that all depends on the anti-virus software youre using, not the type of connection youre using. If youre wanting to make your downloads faster by connecting both USB and ethernet from the same modem, it won't work. You can, however, use 2 different internet providers and bridge the two connections together.
