NGR stain is a stain (the kind found in the paint aisle, not the kind on your shirt) that will not make the wood grain fibers rise up from the surface of the wood. Raised grain may have to be sanded off.
Mould staining can be wiped off by Concrobium Mold Stain Eraser.
Negative staining has a dark contrasted background and the bacteria is white. Simple staining has a white background and bacteria is the color depended on your stain color.Negative staining when prepared is NOT heat fixed but simple staining when prepared is heat fixed. Heat fixed means when preparing slide with bacteria on it, it is passed over some type of flame, like a Bunsen burner flame, three times or four times.
The effect on the bacteria depends if the stain is an acidic or basic stain. Most bacteria are stained when a basic stain permeates the cell wall and adheres by weak ionic bonds to the bacterial cell, which is slightly negatively charged.
Water removes (decolorizing agent) the Malachite green from all parts of the bacteria excluding the spore. The spore appears green when examined.
Assume that during the performance of this exercise you made several errors in your spore-staining procedure. In each of the following cases indicate how your microscopic observations would differ from those observed when the slides were prepared correctly . A. you used acid-alcohol as the decolorizing agent . B. you used safranin as the primary stain and malachite green as the counterstain C. you did not apply heat during the application of the primary stain · A. Normally tap water is used as the decolorizing agent to wash off excess stain. When you use acid-alcohol, it decolorizes the cells and the stain is removed. · B.When you use safranin as the primary stain and malachite green as the secondary stain, the cells will stain green and the spores will stain red. · C.When heat is not applied during the application of the primary stain, the spores are not stained and they appear colorless.
Try anti-bacterial gel, the kind you use to clean your hands. Rub on stain, allow to sit for a few minutes and rub with soft cloth.
you just run it under cold water and then use butter to rub it off
The green powder is copper (2) carbonate. When heated it decomposes to give copper (2) oxide (which is black) and carbon dioxide . It is a compound.
You will need to paint the stain with a pickling gel. It is very rough, but it will get the stain off.
It sounds as though your table was stained and a finish coat was not applied. Take it back to where you bought it or hire a painter to finish it.
Iodine is basic in pH levels so use something acidic like lemon juice and smear it all over your hands like soap and then wash it off. Iodine free hands =)
Next 1 teaspoon of regular table salt with 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar or white vinegar. Do not let the salt dissolve. Take a toothbrush and rub the mixture on your skin, making sure to rub gently. The stain should come off within 30 seconds. Then wash your hands with soap and water. The copper stain should be removed. Repeat as necessary.
We would need to know what caused the stain and what kind of surface it's on. The procedure to clean an oil stain off of concrete is going to be much different than cleaning a red wine stain off of furniture.
because it is made of a cheaper metal such as copper or brass (which is mainly copper anyway) and copper reacts with acid in your sweat and tarnishes. the green stain on your skin is that tarnish rubbing off on it.
wash it
