A great way to get motor oil off your hands is to use olive oil: Squirt some olive oil on your hands, rub your hands together to get the motor oil dissolved, then use soap to remove the mixture. Works great, doesn't leave your skin dry and irritated like solvents do.
Oil and water do not mix. Soap breaks down the oil so it can be washed off your hands.
could be oil burn off from the leak Or during repair, the relative dripped oil on the motor, and the excess is burning off when the motor gets hot!
if you rub your hand with oil your hands will be oilli and it want come off at least you wash it every good
under the car remove the 3 screw on the under panel on the driver side. Bend the under panel out of the way there is a crease on it. shine a light to see the filter. You also can actually see the oil filter from atop the motor, its on the drivers side right above the exhaust manifold, i just changed the oil and the filters the other day and i used my hands to take it off. If you have slim hands then you will be able to do it right from the top of the motor versus having to take off all that stuff on the bottom of the car.
If the motor is healthy, the oil will burn off in a moment or two.
you have to pull the motor and when you get the motor pulled take the oil pan off and the oil pump is in there ity will have a tube with a screen on it good luck
purple power or any degreaser
you will have to raise the motor up by taking the motor loose at the mounts just enough to get the oil pan off.

You have to hoist the motor up just enough to get it off take the motor mount nuts off there is a filter inside the oil pan tht is holding it
No, acetone is not a solvent for oil. If motor oil or similar, use gasoline first, then Goof-Off to finish.
