It is an old Greek remedy I learned from a Greek nurse. I have been using it for 20 years now. It is called Lemonial Soup.

2 cups of water

1/2 cup of any kind of white bagged rice

2 to 4 table spoons of lemon juice

pinch of salt

Bring water to a boil add the rice and lemon juice. Cook till soupy. It does not taste the greatest so you might want to add a little sugar. It is the juice mainly that helps. Usually with in 2 to 4 hours you will start feeling better if not repeat again. I have people call me on a regular basis to come and fix the soup for them.

If it is an infant or child, you should give them light steam and a few blankets and make sure they drink water and eat something like chicken noodle soup. If it is an adult or teenager, you should make sure that if they're cold cover them with a blanket and make sure they drink water, tea, or milk. nothing sugary requires for the stomach flu. if they are hungry make sure to give them something like soup.

Drink plenty of water, but drink little by little.

Eat chicken noodle soup, or broccoli and

cheddar soup.Don't eat a lot of food ,or

you will throw up.

Also, try to rest in bed, laying down, as much as possible. Saltine crackers, liquids (such as water, Gatorade, or Sprite) and soup (such as chicken noodle) will help you feel better. You may also want to take a ibuprofen to reduce fever. A professor once told me that salt helps you feel better, but definitely follow with water or you will become dehydrated. Stay warm also. Feel better!

Drink a lot of water Powerade and don't eat greasy food as this will harm it even more but if diarrhea vomiting and pains continue from 2 to 3 days see a doctor or go to the hospital
