The driving lights on a Volvo xc90 are turned off by turning the knob on the left side of the steering column. Driving lights are used to notify other driver's of the vehicle's presence.
It is on a timer; just give 10 minutes or so, and it will shut off.
It sould just pop off like a plug in a wine bottle.
The Oil Filter is on the top of the engine, to the left of the valve cover. It has a plastic cap that can be wrenched off. The Oil Filter is not a sealed filter that you are used to seeing. It drops in where you removed the black cap.
take off the tray covering the bottom of the engine and its at the front
On top of the engine right in the center, under the black cap which screws off, the other black cap next to it is the secondary fuel filter.
The reservoir is build into a power pump, twist off the cap.
On the top. Under the engine cover. It is a cartridge style filter. It is in an aluminum housing with a big cap on it. You take the cap off, and remove the filter. It's very easy, and much less messy than a spin on filter.
Neither your oil filter, or the fill cap need to be loose, the filter should be screwed on as tight as you can get it by hand only, and the fill cap should fit snugly so it does not come off. If the oil filter is loose or too tight you can blow out the seal which will cause you lose all your oil.
you either get a pair a channel lock pliers and turn it off . its a pain in the but but i have to do it on my 2005 cavy . but do it easy or you will strip the cap
Driver's side of the engine block. There is a black cap that screws off. Pry the old filter out of the cap and snap the new filter back into the cap. Make sure to drain any water or trash from the housing.
Use a shallow well socket,(either a 24mm or 1 1/4"), and a ratchet with an extension to remove the black plastic cap that is located in front of where you add oil. Once the cap is removed, you will notice that the filter element is attached to the cap. This just pulls off of the cap and the new filter snaps back on to the cap. Screw cap with filter back into motor block. All of this work can be performed from the top of the motor.
