The problem is there is that the rotor sits behind this part that will not come off even when you take the bolts off and it does not even slide well .... is there a trick or a too getting it off ?
Remove distributor cap Either lift off rotor or unscrew and lift off is so equipped
the screws come off and you replace it
Unlock passenger side
Should be of the "peel off" type Remove wheel Remove caliper mounting bolts Slide caliper off rotor Rotor should slide off hub
they will come off you will need to spray around the rotor with WD 40 to loosen it up then take a rubber mallet and hit the rotor from behind and it will come off
hammer
Umm... If you picked up 4x4 model, you can pull the rear drive shaft off. lol
Yes it is possible. Too much oil is just as bad as too little.
take off rotor for 2 wheel drive
Cut it off, it's what my dad did... except he's so strong he just ripped it with his bare hands!
You will need to remove the tire and wheel of your 1998 Oldsmobile. Remove the brake pad assembly. Tap on the brake rotor with a hammer or mallet. Slide the brake rotor off. Reverse the process to install the new rotor and pads.
