The easiest way I have found is to take the motor mount bolt out of the side that the starter is on and put a jack under the engine and jack it up enough to get the starter to fit between the exhaust manifold and fender. This is a little easier than removing the exhaust manifold and taking a chance on breaking a bolt off in the block.ALSO TRY REMOVING THE TRANS CROSSMEMBER THEN TAKE THE MOTOR MOUNT BOLT OUT, JACK THE MOTOR UP ,YOU WILL HAVE ALL KINDS OF ROOM TO WORK.

how do you replace dome light in s10 chey blazer?
It already has throttle body fuel injection.
Disconnect the battery cable. Remove the bolts that hold the starter in place. Disconnect the wires. Instahlation is in reverse.
It is mounted on the starter motor itself. When you get another starter, it will have the solenoid mounted on it already. If it is bad, just replace the starter, I would not change just the solenoid.
