First, you have to get Nookington's. To get Tom Nook to upgrade his store to Nookington's, you have to have at least 3000 points. After you get at least 3000 points, get a friend to come over, and buy things until they have at least 300 points. The next day, Tom Nook will tell you that he's upgrading his store. Wait another day. On this day, you will see that the store has changed.
Go inside, and you will see an open area/door-thing where you can go in. This is on the left side of the store and is very easy to spot. Once inside, you will meet a pink poodle by the name of Harriet.
Harriet will talk to you for a while, and than, you can get your hair done. If you're a boy, than you cannot get wavy hair; if you're a girl, you can get short wavy hair. Harriet will ask you questions, and depending on how you answer them, you get your new hairstlye. Follow this to get wavy hair:
Q: Harriet: "Hmm. Now tell me, sugar, when do you want your style to REALLY
come alive?"
A: "Every day."
Q: Harriet: "Do you like the sun? How does it make you feel?"
A: "Warm..."
Q: Harriet: "If you were rushing to the salon and someone were to call to you,
what would you do?"
A: "Ignore 'em!"
You will be called a 'Self-Assured Type'
