Well, as a human being she should have some type of consideration for others. If not she sounds like an ice queen. You cant make her change who she is. You can try books, articles and other things that can make her see that having compassion for others is part of human nature. Point out to her that when she is in need of others to be there for her, she may get a surprise that she wont like. Have her watch the movie "Pay it forward" with Helen Hunt....
